The construction of the Semarang–Demak Toll Road, which is integrated with a coastal dike, is built on thick soft soil deposits, resulting in geotechnical challenges such as low bearing capacity and potential embankment inStability. To overcome these conditions, a reinforcement system consisting of bamboo mattress, high-strength geotextile, and Revetment was applied. This study aims to analyze the influence of each reinforcement method and the effectiveness of combining three method in improving the embankment Stability of the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Section 1B, Zone N, from STA 4+425 to STA 4+600. The research method used is Numerical Analysis with Plaxis 2D Software based on Soil Investigation Data and reinforcement material parameters. The analysis was carried out under several conditions: without reinforcement, with bamboo mattress and bamboo piles, with additional high-strength geotextile, and with the addition of a Revetment. The analysis results show that the reinforcement using bamboo piles and bamboo mattress produced a Safety Factor of 1.391 (indicating potential failure), while the combination of bamboo mattress and geotextile increased the Safety Factor to 1.785 (Stable). The application of a Revetment on the slope yielded a Safety Factor of 1.629, indicating improved slope Stability against lateral deformation and the influence of sea level rise. Thus, the combination of these three reinforcement methods is proven to be technically effective in enhancing the Stability of embankments constructed on very soft soil. This study contributes to the development of suStainable construction methods by integrating local and modern technologies for large-scale infrastructure projects.
