PENGARUH KINERJA ESG TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN: STUDI KASUS PADA PERUSAHAAN PERTAMBANGAN SUB SEKTOR LOGAM TAHUN 2018-2022

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kinerja ESG Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan pertambangan sub sektor logam. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari BEI dan web perusahaan terkait, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kinerja keuangan diproksikan oleh Likuiditas dan Profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap kinerja ESG. Sedangkan Kinerja keuangan diproksikan oleh Rasio Aktivitas dan Leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja ESG. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perusahaan logam memiliki kemampuan yang tinggi untuk menyelesaikan hutang lancarnya dan memiliki kemampuan yang tinggi untuk memperoleh laba sehingga memiliki peluang yang besar untuk meningkatkan kinerja ESG. Tetapi tinggi rendahnya perputaran kas perusahaan dan hutang yang dijadikan modal oleh perusahaan tidak mengubah kinerja ESG perusahaan.

This study was conducted to determine the Effect of ESG Performance on the Financial Performance of Mining Companies in the metal sub-sector. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method using secondary data obtained from the IDX and related company websites, which are then processed using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that financial performance proxied by Liquidity and Profitability has an effect on ESG performance. While financial performance proxied by the Activity Ratio and Leverage does not affect ESG performance. This shows that metal companies have a high ability to settle their current debts and have a high ability to make a profit so that they have a great opportunity to improve ESG performance. However, the high and low cash turnover of the company and the debt used as capital by the company do not change the company's ESG performance.
