Kekerasan berbasis gender adalah pelanggaran mendasar terhadap hak asasi manusia yg terus menjadi dilema kompleks pada masyarakat kontemporer. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan gender pada kesaksian korban kekerasan, melalui perspektif hukum Islam, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif normatif. Metode penelitian memakai studi kepustakaan & analisis dokumen untuk mengeksplorasi konstruksi hukum Islam dalam memandang kesaksian perempuan korban kekerasan. Hasil penelitian menyampaikan pentingnya rekonstruksi pemahaman hukum Islam yg lebih responsif gender, menggunakan rekomendasi perlunya penguatan mekanisme perlindungan hukum yg adil & sensitif terhadap pengalaman korban
Gender-based violence is a fundamental violation of human rights that continues to pose a complex dilemma in contemporary society. This research aims to analyze gender relationships in the testimonies of victims of violence, through an Islamic legal perspective, using a normative qualitative approach. The research method uses literature study & document analysis to explore the construction of Islamic law in viewing the testimony of women victims of violence. The research results convey the importance of reconstructing an understanding of Islamic law that is more gender responsive, using recommendations for the need to strengthen legal protection mechanisms that are fair and sensitive to the experiences of victims
