LAPORAN AKHIR PENELITIAN HUBUNGAN PERAN PERAWAT DENGAN PENINGKATAN KESEHATAN FISIK DAN MENTAL PADA TAHANAN DI RUMAH TAHANAN NEGARA KELAS IIB KUDUS

Abstrak

Pada tahun 2015-2018 terdapat narapidana dan tahanan yang mengalami gangguan kesehatan di seluruh Indonesia menunjukan jumlah yang tidak sedikit. Provinsi Jawa Tengah jumlah tahanan di seluruh Lembaga Pemasyarakatan mencapai 3.931 orang dengan 23.4 % mengalami kesehatan. Kondisi ini mencakup masalah kesehatan fisik dan mental yang memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut, sehingga yaitu keadaan kesehatan tahanan baik secara fisik maupun mental perlu mendapat adanya perhatian. Dengan melihat tingginya dampak permasalahan kesehatan fisik dan mental pada tahanan, peran tenaga kesehatan, khususnya perawat, menjadi sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan peran perawat dengan peningkatan kesehatan fisik dan mental pada tahanan di Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas IIB Kudus. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 48 responden. Instrument yang digunakan kuosioner peran perawat, lembar Harvard step test, Instrumen SRQ-29. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,003 yang berarti ada hubungan peran perawat terhadap peningkatan ketahanan fisik.  Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,002 yang berarti ada hubungan peran perawat terhadap peningkatan ketahanan mental.

In 2015-2018, there were a significant number of prisoners and detainees experiencing health problems throughout Indonesia. In Central Java Province, the number of prisoners in all correctional institutions reached 3,931 people, with 23.4% experiencing health problems. This condition includes physical and mental health problems that require further attention, so that the state of the prisoner's health, both physically and mentally, needs attention. Given the high impact of physical and mental health problems on prisoners, the role of health workers, especially nurses, is very important. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of nurses and improving the physical and mental health of prisoners at the Kudus Class IIB State Detention Center. This research method was quantitative research with descriptive analysis using a cross-sectional research design. The sample used in this study was 48 respondents. The instruments used were the nurse role questionnaire, the Harvard step test sheet, and the SRQ-29 instrument. The hypothesis test for this study used the Chi-Square Test. The results of the statistical test showed a p-value of 0.003, which means there is a relationship between the role of nurses and improving physical endurance. The results of the statistical test showed a p-value of 0.002, which means there is a relationship between the role of nurses and increasing mental resilience.
