STRATEGI PEKERJA SOSIAL DALAM MENANGANI ANAK BERHADAPAN DENGAN HUKUM DI BALAI REHABILITASI SOSIAL UNTUK PERLINDUNGAN KHUSUS

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the duties or functions of social workers as Advocators, Counselors and educators in the social rehabilitation of children in conflict with the law at BRSAMPK Toddopuli Makassar. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques, in primary data conducted through structured and semi-structured interviews while secondary data with literature studies. The results of the study found that the role of social workers as Advocators is one of the roles often used by social workers at the social rehabilitation center for children requiring special protection (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli, namely providing assistance to children in conflict with the law in the court process starting from preparing all social reports of children and referrals if possible the child has other needs. The role of social workers as educators for children in conflict with the law at the social rehabilitation center for children requiring special protection (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli is providing education, both knowledge and skills for child empowerment, conducting supervision, and compiling educational activities. The role of social workers as Counselors for children in conflict with the law at the social rehabilitation center for children requiring special protection (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli is providing motivation to children, helping children to be responsible for solving or facing problems, providing advice and solutions to children so that children can immediately solve their problems, compiling or discussing problems or conducting Case conferences if social workers do not find a solution to the child's problem.

Terdapat Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang tugas atau fungsi pekerja sosial sebagai Advocator, Counselor dan educator dalam rehabilitasi sosial anak berhadapan dengan hukum di BRSAMPK Toddopuli Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data, pada data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara secara berstruktur dan semistruktur sedangkan data sekunder dengan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Peran pekerja sosial sebagai Advocator merupakan salah satu peran yang sering digunakan oleh pekerja sosial dibalai rehabilitasi sosial anak memerlukan perlindungan khusus (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli ialah melakukan pendampingan kepada anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum dalam proses pengadilan dimulai dari menyiapkan segala laporan sosial anak dan rujukan jika memungkinkan anak memiliki kebutuhan yang lain. Peran pekerja sosial sebagai educator kepada anak berhadapan dengan hukum dibalai rehabilitasi sosial anak memerlukan perlindungan khusus (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli yaitu pemberian edukasi baik pengetahuan maupun keterampilan untuk pemberdayaan anak, melakukan pengawasan, menyusun kegiatan edukasi. Peran pekerja sosial sebagai Counselor kepada anak berhadapan dengan hukum dibalai rehabilitasi sosial anak memerlukan perlindungan khusu (BRSAMPK) Toddopuli yaitu pemberian motivasi kepada anak, membantuanak untuk bertanggung jawab dalam menyelesaikan atau menghadapi masalah, memberikan saran dan solusi kepada anak agar anak dapat segera menyelsaikan masalahnya, menyusun atau mendiskusikan masalah atau melakukan Case conference jika pekerja sosial tidak menemukan solusi dari masalah anak.
