PERBANDINGAN PEMILIHAN WARNA KONTAK LENSA (SOFTLENS) DAN EYESHADOW TERHADAP HASIL RIASAN PENGANTIN BARAT

Abstrak

Riasan pengantin Barat semakin diminati karena tampilannya yang elegan dan natural. Salah satu elemen penting dalam riasan ini adalah kombinasi warna softlens dan eyeshadow yang berperan dalam memperindah mata. Namun, banyak mahasiswa tata rias dan perias pemula mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan warna yang serasi, terutama pada mata sipit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara pemilihan warna softlens dan eyeshadow terhadap hasil riasan pengantin Barat pada bentuk mata sipit, serta menentukan kombinasi yang paling sesuai. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental, melibatkan 6 sampel mahasiswi Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Padang dan 7 panelis. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling, dengan analisis uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji T menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi softlens coklat dengan eyeshadow keemasan memperoleh nilai yang paling tinggi dengan indikator warna softlens sebesar 47,62% (kategori sangat cocok dan cocok), eyeshadow 52,38% (cocok), kombinasi keduanya 57,14% (cocok), dan hasil akhir 38,10% (cocok). Uji T menunjukkan terdapat perbandingan antara kombinasi tersebut dengan kombinasi lain (p<0,05). Hasil ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa dan perias dalam memilih warna softlens dan eyeshadow yang tepat.

Western bridal makeup is increasingly favored for its elegant and natural appearance. One of the essential elements in this makeup style is the combination of softlens and eyeshadow colors, which enhances the beauty of the eyes. However, many makeup students and beginner makeup artists face difficulties in selecting harmonious color combinations, especially for narrow eye shapes. This study aims to examine the comparison between softlens and eyeshadow color choices in Western bridal makeup on narrow eye shapes and to determine the most suitable combination. This research employed an experimental method with a pre-experimental design, involving 6 students from the Cosmetology Program at Universitas Negeri Padang and 7 panelists. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, and data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and T-tests with SPSS 26. The findings showed that the combination of brown softlens and golden eyeshadow achieved the highest scores, with a softlens color indicator of 47.62% (categorized as very suitable and suitable), eyeshadow at 52.38% (suitable), the combination at 57.14% (suitable), and the final result at 38.10% (suitable). The T-test showed a comparison between this and other combinations (p<0.05). These results are expected to serve as a reference for students and makeup artists in selecting the appropriate softlens and eyeshadow colors.
