PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN HAIR TONIC DAUN PARE (MOMORDICA CHARANTIA L) UNTUK PERAWATAN RAMBUT RONTOK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya efek samping dan ketidakcocokan penggunaan produk perawatan rambut dari bahan kimia yang menyebabkan kerontokan pada rambut, untuk mengurangi efek samping dari bahan kimia tersebut bisa diatasi dengan bahan-bahan kosmetik tradisonal seperti hair tonic daun pare (momordica charantia L). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan hair tonic daun pare untuk perawatan rambut rontok dalam pengaplikasian frekuensi 1 kali dalam 2 hari dan pengaplikasian frekuensi 1 kali dalam 3 hari pemakaian, dan Menganalisis perbandingan pengaruh penggunaan hair tonic daun pare untuk rambut rontok dalam pengaplikasian frekuensi 1 kali dalam 2 hari dan pengaplikasian frekuensi 1 kali dalam 3 hari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswi tata rias dan kecantikan. Tenik analisis data penelitian adalah uji analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis yaitu uji t. Hasil penelitian adalah Penggunaan hair tonic daun pare (Momordica Charantia L) frekuensi perlakuan 1 x 2 hari menunjukkan tingkat kerontokan rambut pada sampel pada perlakuan pertama, kedua dan ketiga tidak normal, namun untuk perlakuan ke empat sampai ke delapan kerontokan rambut pada sampel dikatakan. Penggunaan hair tonic daun pare (Momordica Charantia L) frekuensi perlakuan 1 x 3 hari meninjukkan rata-rata tingkat kerontokan rambut pada sampel pada perlakuan pertama, kedua dan ketiga tidak normal dan untuk perlakuan ke empat sampai ke delapan kerontokan rambut pada sampel dikatakan normal. Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan hair tonic daun pare (Momordica Charantia L) untuk perawatan rambut rontok frekuensi perlakuan 1 x 2 dengan frekuensi perlakuan 1 x 3 hari dibuktikan melalui nilai equal variances assumed sebesar 0,053 dan nilai tersebut > 0,05.
