PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN LEVEL SARI BUAH APEL DALAM PENGENCERAN SITRAT KUNING TELUR TERHADAP KUALITAS SEMEN CAIR BABI PERSILANGAN LANDRACE DAN DUROC

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji Penambahan Level Sari Buah Apel dalam Pengenceran Sitrat Kuning Telur (SKT) terhadap Kualitas Semen Cair Babi Persilangan Landrace Dan Duroc. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksprimental rancangan acak lengkap terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah P0=SKT, P1= SKT + Sari Buah Apel 1%, P2= SKT +Sari Buah Apel 3%, P3= SKT+ Sari Buah Apel 5%, P4= SKT + Sari Buah Apel 7%, P5= SKT + Sari Buah Apel 9%. Semen yang telah di encerkan dengan pengencer perlakuan disimpan dalam cool box dengan suhu 18-20°C dan diamati setiap 12 jam sampai persentase motilitas spermatozoa 40%. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan bahwa pada jam ke-48 preservasi perlakuan P3 menghasilkan motilitas spermatozoa tertinggi dan berbeda secara nyata (P<0,05) dengan semua perlakuan, dengan nilai motilitas spermatozoa 49.00±4.18% viabilitas spermatozoa 51.10±5.78% abnormalitas spermatozoa 4.70±1.03% dan daya tahan hidup spermatozoa 55.20 jam. Disimpulkan bahwa penambahan sari buah apel sebesar 5% ke dalam sitrat kuning telur dapat mempertahankan motilitas hingga 48 jam penyimpanan.
The purpose of this study was to test the Addition of Cider Level in Egg Yolk Citrate Dilution (EYC) on the Quality of Liquid Semen of Landrace and Duroc Crossbred Pigs. This study used a completely randomized experimental design method consisting of 6 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments in question were T0 = SKT, T1 = SKT + 1% cider, T2 = SKT + 3% cider, T3 = SKT + 5% cider, T4 = SKT + 7% cider, T5 = SKT + 9% cider. Semen that had been diluted with the treatment diluent was stored in a cool box at a temperature of 18-20°C and observed every 12 hours until the percentage of spermatozoa motility was 40%. The observation results showed that at 48 hours of preservation, the P3 treatment produced the highest spermatozoa motility and was significantly different (P<0.05) from all treatments, with spermatozoa motility values of 49.00±4.18%, spermatozoa viability of 51.10±5.78%, spermatozoa abnormality of 4.70±1.03% and spermatozoa survival of 55.20 hours. It was concluded that the addition of 5% Cider to egg yolk citrate can maintain motility for up to 48 hours of storage.
