PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PELLET CAMPURAN BAHAN PAKAN SUMBER ENERGI NON KONVENSIONAL DENGAN KONSENTRAT TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN KARBOHIDRAT SERTA LEMAK KASAR SAPI BALI JANTAN PENGGEMUKAN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pellet campuran bahan sumber energi non konvensional dengan konsentrat terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan karbohidrat serta lemak kasar sapi Bali jantan penggemukan. Dalam penelitian ini ternak sapi Bali jantan penggemukan yang digunakan sebanyak 4 ekor rata-rata umur 1-1,5 tahun dengan kisaran bobot badan awal 95,5–97,5kg dengan rataan 9 6,4kg. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0 = 70% Lamtoro + 30% pakan pellet tanpa bahan non konvensional (Kontrol), P1 = 70% Lamtoro + 30% pakan pellet (30% Bonggol Pisang + 70% konsentrat), P2 = 70% Lamtoro + 30% pakan pellet (30% Ubi Kayu Afkir + 70% konsentrat) dan P3 = 70% Lamtoro + 30% pakan pellet (30% Putak + 70% konsentrat). Variabel yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumsi karbohidrat, konsumsi lemak kasar, kecernaan karbohidrat dan kecernaan lemak kasar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam. Nilai rataan dari masing-masing variabel pada setiap perlakuan adalah rataan konsumsi karbohidrat (g/e/h) P0 : 1857,81, P1 : 1865,04, P2 : 1857,85, P3 : 1834,29, konsumsi lemak kasar (g/e/h) P0 : 123,94, P1 : 114,11, P2 : 115,65, P3 : 114,15, kecernaan karbohidrat (%) P0 : 79,49, P1 : 79,43, P2 : 78,94, P3 : 78,11, kecernaan lemak kasar (%) P0 : 78,61, P1 : 75,85, P2 : 75,36, P3 : 75,81. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap penurunan konsumsi lemak kasar sedangkan tidak berpengaruh nyata  (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi karbohidrat, kecernaan karbohidrat dan kecernaan lemak kasar ransum. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa bahan pakan non konvensional sumber energi seperti bonggol pisang, ubi kayu afkir dan putak dapat dicampur dengan konsentrat dalam bentuk pellet sehingga mengurangi penggunaan konsentrat sampai 30% pada ransum ternak sapi Bali jantan penggemukan karena memberikan penurunan konsumsi lemak kasar serta konsumsi karbohidrat maupun kecernaan karbohidrat dan lemak kasar yang sama dengan pakan pellet murni konsentrat.

This study aims to determine the effect of providing mixed pellets of non-conventional energy sources with concentrate on the consumption and digestibility of carbohydrates and crude fat of fattening male Balinese cattle. In this study, 4 male Bali cattle were used, with an average age of 1 - 1.5 years, with an initial body weight range of 95.5 – 95.5 kg with an average of 96.4 kg. The research method used was an experimental method using a Latin Square Design (LSD) with 4 treatments and 4 periods as replications. The treatments in this study were P0 = 70% Leucaena leucocepala + 30% pellet feed without non-conventional ingredients (control), P1 = 70% Leucaena leucocepala + 30% pellet feed (30% banana weevil + 70% concentrate), P2 = 70% Leucaena leucocepala + 30% pellet feed (30% cassava waste + 70% concentrate) and P3 = 70% Leucaena leucocepala +30% pellet feed (30% corypha utan + 70% concentrate). The variables tested in this study were carbohydrate consumption, crude fat consumption, carbohydrate digestibility and crude fat digestibility. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The average value of each variable in each treatment is the average carbohydrate consumption (g/h/d) P0: 1857.81, P1 : 1865.04, P2 : 1857.85, P3 : 1834.29, crude fat consumption (g/h/d) P0 : 123.94, P1 : 114.11, P2 : 115.65, P3 : 114.15, carbohydrate digestibility (%) P0 : 79.49, P1 : 79.43, P2 : 78.94, P3 : 78.112.05, crude fat digestibility (%) P0 : 78.61, P1 : 75.85, P2 : 75.36, P3  : 75.81. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the decrease in crude fat consumption while it had no significant effect (P>0.05) on carbohydrate consumption, carbohydrate digestibility and crude fat digestibility of the ration. The conclusion of this study is that non-conventional feed ingredients as energy sources such as banana weevil, cassava waste and coryphe utan can be mixed with concentrate in the form of pellets so as to reduce the use of concentrate by up to 30% in the ration of fattening male Bali cattle because it provides a decrease in crude fat the consumption and carbohiydrate consumption as well as carbohydrate and crude fat digestibility which is the same as well pure concentrate pelled feed.
