PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN VIRGIN COCONUT OIL DALAM PENGENCER SARI BUAH SEMANGKA-KUNING TELUR DAN SITRAT TERHADAP KUALITAS SPERMATOZOA BABI LANDRACE

Pernerlitian ini berrturjuran urnturk mernernturkan bagaimana pernambahan minyak kerlapa murrni (VCO) dalam perngerncerr sari burang sermangka-kurning terlurr dan sitrat (SBS-KT-Sitrat) berrdampak pada kuralitas sperrmatozoa babi landracer. Mertoder massager urnturk babi landracer derwasa yang serhat mernampurng sermern serminggur serkali. Pernerlitian ini berrsifat erksperrimerntal derngan rancangan acak lerngkap yang terrdiri dari lima perrlakuran dan lima urlangan. Perrlakuran terrserburt terrdiri dari sari burah sermangka (SBS 40%), kurning terlurr (KT 20%) dan Sitrat (40%) yang ditambahkan VCO derngan berrbagai lerverl: 0% (P0-Kontrol), 1,5% (P1), 3% (P2), 4,5% (P3) dan 6% (P4). Sermern yang dierncerrkan disimpan dalam cool box pada surhur 15-20ºC dan diervalurasi sertiap 8 jam serkali terrhadap motilitas, viabilitas, abnormalitas dan daya tahan hidurp sperrmatozoa hingga motilitasnya dibawah 40%. Hasil pernerlitian ini mernurnjurkkan pernambahan VCO 6% (P4) dalam perngerncerr SBS-KT dan Sitrat derngan lama pernyimpanan 32 jam mermberrikan kuralitas yang lerbih baik (P<0,05) derngan motilitas (41,00±4,18%), viabilitas (46,90±5,07%), abnormalitas (4,00±1,41%) dan daya tahan hidurp (32,56±1,63 jam). Disimpurlkan bahwa pernambahan VCO serbanyak 6% dalam perngerncerr SBS-KT dan Sitrat erferktif dalam mermperrtahankan kuralitas sperrmatozoa babi landracer.
Ther purrposer of this sturdy was to derterrminer ther erfferct of adding virgin coconurt oil (VCO) in waterrmerlo juricer-ergg yolk dilurernt and citrater (WJ-ERY-Citrater) on ther qurality of landracer boar sperrmatozoa. Sermern was collercterd oncer a wererk ursing ther massager merthod from landracer boars that haver reracherd serxural maturrity with heralthy conditions. This sturdy was erxperrimerntal with a complerterly randomizerd dersign consisting of fiver treratmernts and fiver rerplicaters. Ther treratmernts werrer waterrmerlon juricer (WJ 40%), ergg yolk (ERY 20%) and Citrater (40%) adderd with VCO with variours lerverls: 0% (P0-Control), 1.5% (P1), 3% (P2), 4.5% (P3) and 6% (P4). Sermern was storerd in a cool box at 15-20°C and ervaluraterd erverry 8 hourrs for motility, viability, abnormality and surrvival of sperrmatozoa urntil motility was berlow 40%. Ther rersurlts of this sturdy showerd ther addition of 6% VCO (P4) in SBS-KT and Citrater dilurernt with a storager timer of 32 hourrs gaver bertterr qurality (P<0.05) with motility (41.00-4.18%), viability (46.90-5.07%), abnormality (4.00±1.41%) and surrvival (32.56±1.63 hourrs). It was conclurderd that ther addition of 6% VCO in WJ-ERY and citrater dilurernt was erfferctiver in maintaining ther qurality of landracer sperrmatozoa.
