The study aimed to examine the effect of cutting height on the growth of dwarf elephant grass. The research was conducted at the Field Laboratory of the Animal Science Study Program, FPKP UNDANA, over four months. The method used was an experimental design with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments and three replications: T1 = 5 cm, T2 = 10 cm, T3 = 15 cm, T4 = 20 cm, and T5 = 25 cm. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, and number of tillers. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the average plant height (cm) was T1 = 60.65, T2 = 63.02, T3 = 61.63, T4 = 58.94, and T5 = 57.16; the number of leaves (blades) was T1 = 69.9, T2 = 86.29, T3 = 90.8, T4 = 106.3, and T5 = 101.7; and the number of tillers was T1 = 10.6, T2 = 10.9, T3 = 12, T4 = 12.46, and T5 = 12.75. The analysis of variance indicated that the treatments had no significant effect (P>0.05). It was concluded that different cutting heights had a relatively similar impact on the growth of dwarf elephant grass.
