This study examines the deployment of the Odoo ERP system on AWS, focusing on best practices in cloud computing to enhance performance, security, and scalability. Key strategies include isolating the database server from the application server to optimize both performance and security, implementing auto-scaling for application instances to dynamically adjust resources based on demand, configuring AWS WAF to block suspicious IPs and restrict administrative access, utilizing AWS Shield to protect against DDoS attacks, leveraging Amazon S3 for scalable media storage, and employing Route 53 for efficient DNS management. This implementation illustrates how these practices collectively contribute to a robust, secure, and scalable deployment of Odoo ERP on AWS, underscoring the importance of best practices in managing cloud-based ERP systems.
