Abstrak

This study discusses the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system for a cracker drying machine using the ESP32 microcontroller. The system is equipped with a temperature sensor (thermocouple), a gas sensor (MQ-2), and a flame sensor to monitor environmental conditions during the drying process. Data obtained from the sensors are transmitted to a local server running on XAMPP with a MySQL database and displayed through a web dashboard developed using PHP and Chart.js. Testing was carried out using two heat sources, namely an electric heater and a gas stove. The results show that the temperature sensor can monitor temperature increases from 24°C to over 120°C with stable readings, the flame sensor successfully detected the presence of fire when using the gas stove, and the MQ-2 sensor was able to measure changes in gas concentration around the drying area. Therefore, the developed system can provide real-time monitoring information and enhance safety aspects in the cracker drying process.
