ANALISIS SISTEM FIRE PREVENTION PADA GUDANG PENYIMPANAN PERALATAN UNIT PKP-PK DI BANDAR UDARA ADI SOEMARMO

Gudang penyimpanan peralatan Unit PKP-PK di Bandar Udara Adi Soemarmo memegang peran penting dalam kesiapsiagaan darurat. Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan belum tersedianya sistem fire prevention yang memadai, seperti detektor asap, APAR, dan prosedur tanggap darurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi eksisting dan merancang sistem pencegahan kebakaran yang sesuai standar keselamatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi visual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perlunya pengadaan alat proteksi aktif, penyusunan SOP, serta pelatihan rutin bagi personel. Rancangan sistem disusun berdasarkan standar nasional (SNI) dan internasional (NFPA dan ICAO). Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan keselamatan fasilitas serta menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan sistem proteksi kebakaran di lingkungan Bandar Udara. Penelitian ini juga menekankan bahwa keselamatan bukan sekadar kepatuhan teknis, tetapi wujud nyata dari kepedulian terhadap nilai kemanusiaan dan profesionalisme kerja.
The storage warehouse for PKP-PK equipment at Adi Soemarmo Airport plays a vital role in emergency preparedness. However, field observations revealed the absence of an adequate fire prevention system, such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers (APAR), and emergency response procedures. This study aims to analyze the existing conditions and design a fire prevention system that complies with safety standards. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through field observation, interviews, and visual documentation. The analysis highlights the need for active fire protection equipment, the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regular personnel training. The proposed system is based on national standards (SNI) and international references (NFPA and ICAO). The study is expected to enhance facility safety and serve as a reference for developing fire protection systems in airport environments. Furthermore, it emphasizes that safety is not merely a matter of technical compliance but a reflection of human values and professional responsibility.
