Abstrak

Based on the initial survey in the form of direct interviews, there were no
interpersonal awards in the form of recognition, status and souvenirs from the
company given in the last 2 years and there were no promotions within the company
because the company only needed employees who suited their job and already had a
job description. each. Meanwhile, in providing guarantees, there are still honorary
employees working at PDAM Solok City who have not been registered with BPJS
Employment. The aim of the research is to find out the effect of giving awards and
social security on employee work productivity at PDAM Kota Solok. This type of
research uses descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data source used in this
research is primary through distributing questionnaires regarding the provision of
rewards and social security on employee work productivity. The sampling technique
was carried out by total sampling, namely 76 people. The results of the research show
that partially giving awards has a positive effect on work productivity, the calculated t
value is greater than the t table, namely 4.146 > 1.9925, and the significant value is
0.000 < 0.05 and social security has a positive effect on work productivity, the
calculated t value is also greater than t table is 3.024 > 1.9925 and the value is not
significant 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the F test, the Fcount value is 18.646 and the
Ftable value is 3.12. This states that simultaneously or simultaneously giving awards
and social security has a positive effect on the work productivity of employees at
PDAM Kota Solok.
